PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular shift device that can secure safety for erroneous operation, select quickly and easily a range, suppress upsizing of the device and improve safety when selecting a reverse range.SOLUTION: The vehicular shift device comprises a main body portion 20, which supports a shift lever 10 tiltably between a home position and a tilting limiting position away in a longitudinal direction from the home position and automatically restores the tilted shift lever 10 to the home position. On an upper end part of the shift lever 10 is supported a nob 11 turnably in the longitudinal direction. When the shift lever 10 is tilted from the home position to the tilting limiting position, a neutral range is selected, and further, when the nob 11 is turned in the longitudinal direction from the neutral range, a travel range is selected. Turning force F2 of the nob 11 required when selecting the reverse range is set to be a value larger than that of turning force of the nob 11 required when selecting a drive range. |
