PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient and economically-valuable compact optical line sensor device including one line light source which serves as a transmission line light source and a reflection line light source.SOLUTION: Line light sources 6, 7 include: a light guide 1 which is extended in a longitudinal direction and is formed of a material that transmits light of a predetermined wavelength range; and light-source sections 3, 4 for emitting light into the light guide. The light guide 1 includes: a first emission surface 1c and a second emission surface 1d formed in a longitudinal direction L and emitting light in different directions; a first diffusion-pattern formation surface 1g facing the first emission surface 1c and including a light-diffusing first diffusion pattern P1 arranged along the longitudinal direction; and a second diffusion-pattern formation surface 1a facing the second emission surface 1d and including a light-diffusing second diffusion pattern P2 arranged along the longitudinal direction. |
