1. A compound of formula I or II where: R1 is cyclohexenyl, phenyl, pyridinyl, or thienyl, and is substituted with 1 CON(R9)(R10) substituent, and is also substituted with 0-3 substituents selected from the group consisting of halo, alkyl, cycloalkyl, haloalkyl, hydroxyalkyl, alkoxyalkyl, alkoxy, cycloalkoxy, hydroxyalkyloxy, and alkoxyalkyloxy; R2 is hydrogen, halo, alkyl, or alkoxy; R3 is alkyl; R4 is phenyl substituted with 0-2 substituents selected from halo, alkyl, alkoxy, and X—Ar1; R5 and R6 are independently selected from hydrogen, nitro, halo, alkyl, haloalkyl, hydroxyalkyl, alkoxyalkyl, (benzoyl)alkyl, (CO2(R11))alkyl, (CON(R11)(R12))alkyl, (NHCO2(R11))alkyl, (alkylsulfonyl)alkyl, (alkylsulfonylNH)alkyl, alkoxy, haloalkoxy, nitro, alkylsulfonyl, and N(R7)(R8); R7 and R8 are independently selected from hydrogen, alkyl, cyanoalkyl, haloalkyl, (cycloalkyl)alkyl, cycloalkyl, hydroxyalkyl, alkoxyalkyl, alkylcarbonyl, alkoxycarbonyl, haloalkoxycarbonyl, alkylsulfonyl, (alkylsulfonyl)alkyl, and SO2N(R11)(R12); or N(R7)(R8) taken together is azetidinyl, pyrrolidinyl, piperidinyl, or piperazinyl, and is substituted with 0-2 substituents selected from alkyl, hydroxyalkyl, and hydroxy; R9 is bicyclo[1.1.1]pentanyl; R10 is hydrogen; R11 is hydrogen or alkyl; R12 is hydrogen or alkyl; X is —O— or —NH—; and Ar1 is phenyl or halophenyl; or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. |
