A gas barrier multilayer film which comprises a plastic base (A), a silicon oxide layer (B) that is formed on at least one surface of the plastic base (A), and a coating layer (C) that is formed by applying a coating liquid to the surface of the silicon oxide layer (B). The coating liquid is obtained by mixing a polyurethane resin (c1) and a silane coupling agent (c2), and contains, as a main component, a reaction product of (c1) and (c2), said reaction product having a number average molecular weight of 100,000-1,000,000. Consequently, this gas barrier multilayer film has achieved excellent gas barrier properties, water resistance and adhesiveness. |
