An embodiment of the present invention relates to a product recommendation method using visible light communication in store and a device thereof. The method estimates the purchase necessity of a user for a product based on the product related information received from a visible-ray lighting device installed in the store and the stored purchase history of the user and provides the product related information for the user as recommendation depending on the estimation result, in order to help users control purchase of unnecessary products by themselves and eventually guide the users to make purchases more efficiently.
