PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hand dryer in which a lock mechanism is installed in the operation part for the purpose of preventing theft and mischievous operation and in which removal and operation are possible only upon correct unlocking operation.SOLUTION: A hand dryer 100 includes: a main body box 1 in which a hand insertion part 3 allowing to insert/withdraw the hands and a water receiver for collecting waterdrops blown off from the hands are formed; a high pressure air flow generator which is housed in the main body box 1 to generate a high pressure air flow; and nozzles which jet the high pressure air flow generated by the high pressure air flow generator to the hand insertion part 3 from both sides. In addition, the hand dryer 100 is equipped with an operation part which is installed in a recess formed in a part of the side of the main body box 1 and which switches an operation state; an operation part lid body 18 which is installed in a manner covering the operation part and which can be opened and closed; and a lock mechanism 19 which regulates the opening and closing of the operation lid body 18. Further, in the hand dryer 100, the hand insertion part 3 structures a recessed space in which the hands can be inserted and withdrawn, with the upper part of the main body box 1 opened. |
