PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery management apparatus capable of grasping the possibility of availability of an appliance highly accurately when using the appliance using power from a battery.SOLUTION: A battery management apparatus, for use in managing a battery for supplying a vehicular drive source and an external appliance with power, includes: drive power computation means 21 for computing power of a battery required to drive a drive source as drive-requiring power; usage power computation means 22 for computing power of the battery required to use the external appliance as usage-requiring power in the state of the external appliance being electrically connected to the battery; battery management means 10 for managing a charge state of the battery; and power amount computation means 23 for computing necessary power required for the battery by totaling the drive-requiring power and the usage-requiring power and computing a power amount usable by the external appliance on the basis of a difference between a charge state corresponding to the necessary power and a present charge state. |
