A tire pressure sensor assembly and a method of servicing said assembly is disclosed. The tire pressure sensor assembly includes an adaptor housing having an interior chamber and a flow passage connecting the chamber to an outside of the housing, and a valve core associated with said flow passage. The tire pressure sensor assembly also includes a pressure sensor within the chamber of the adaptor housing and further associated with the valve core, and a cap adapted to seal the pressure sensor at least partially within the chamber of the housing. |
