The invention relates to a method for the purification and disinfection of wastewater by means of photobioreactors, said method pertaining to the sector of agriculture in the widest sense of the term, although it can also pertain to the chemical sector and to the sector corresponding to public administration. The invention is novel in that it relates to a method based on pre-treated wastewater, as a result of which high purification and disinfection indices can be obtained. The invention can be used for farming, wherein the water obtained can be used for irrigation and therefore to increase food production, and for human use, as it can be used in areas where the conditions are unsuitable. The invention can also be used as a means for minimising the environmental impact of industrial discharge into public channels. |
