Disclosed are an information transmission method and apparatus. The method comprises: a first terminal establishes an information transmission channel between a second terminal and an external network on the basis of a connection between the first terminal and the second terminal and a connection between the first terminal and the external network, forwards an information request sent by the second terminal to the external network through the information transmission channel, and forwards received information corresponding to the information request to the second terminal through the information transmission channel. In this way, the second terminal can directly acquire information from the external network or upload information to the external network without the need of passively receiving invocation or pushing of the first terminal, so that a seamless connection between the second terminal and the external network for information transmission is achieved and efficiency of information transmission is effectively improved. |
