A method and device for photographing the motion track of an object, the method comprising: detecting the dimension and size of the photosensitive device of a terminal; acquiring the theoretical exposure time of the photosensitive device according to the dimension and size of the photosensitive device; acquiring the actual exposure time of the photosensitive device; and according to the theoretical exposure time and the actual exposure time of the photosensitive device, configuring the current photographing parameters of the terminal. The technical solution improves the suitability of photographing software for a photographing terminal, thus optimizing the exposure effect of the photosensitive devices of all terminals, and improving the image photographing effect of the terminal.
