A wind turbine including a tower, a nacelle compartment, a rotating compartment, a plurality of blades connected to the rotating compartment and a funnel wherein the funnel is attached to the nacelle compartment for a downwind direction where the nacelle and the funnel are first contacting a wind direction and in an alternate attachment the funnel is attached to the rotating compartment for an upwind direction wherein the blades are first contacting the wind direction.
