<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readily calculate time series of command values of control axes to automatically operate a stretch forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: This stretch forming method employs a stretch forming apparatus 10 equipped with a pair of jaws J<SB POS="POST">L</SB>, J<SB POS="POST">R</SB>gripping both ends of a workpiece W, a forming tool D disposed between the pair of jaws J<SB POS="POST">L</SB>, J<SB POS="POST">R</SB>and abutting to the workpiece W, and a plurality of control axes J<SB POS="POST">D1</SB>-J<SB POS="POST">D2</SB>, J<SB POS="POST">L1</SB>-J<SB POS="POST">L6</SB>, J<SB POS="POST">R1</SB>-J<SB POS="POST">R6</SB>. The method comprises: a jaw relative motion pattern preparation step of preparing relative motion pattern of respective jaws J<SB POS="POST">L</SB>, J<SB POS="POST">R</SB>relative to the forming tool D for stretch-forming the workpiece W into a desired shape; and a command value calculation step of calculating time series of command values to be given to respective control axes J<SB POS="POST">D1</SB>-J<SB POS="POST">D2</SB>, J<SB POS="POST">L1</SB>-J<SB POS="POST">L6</SB>, J<SB POS="POST">R1</SB>-J<SB POS="POST">R6</SB>to actualize the jaw relative motion pattern of respective jaws J<SB POS="POST">L</SB>, J<SB POS="POST">R</SB>relative to the forming tool D which is prepared in the jaw relative motion pattern preparation step. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
