The present invention relates to paralemmin which is a protein used as a diagnostic marker for cardiovascular disorders. The present invention further relates to a diagnostic kit for cardiovascular disorders using the same. More specifically, the paralemmin expression level increases particularly in a patient with a cardiovascular disorder, in comparison with a normal person. Therefore, paralemmin of the present invention can be used as the diagnostic marker for cardiovascular disorder.
