FIELD: oil and gas industry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil processing industry, in particular to catalyst production method for demercaptanisation of hydrocarbon mixtures based on transient metal complexes with ligand. The method includes process of the catalyst application onto porous carrier. At that the mix is prepared of transient metal polynuclear complex solution with porous carrier, wherein quantity of transient metal complex is equal to 1 wt % of the carrier weight. Carboxylate group of trimethylacetates is used as ligand. The obtained heterogeneous catalyst is used for demercaptanisation of hydrocarbon mixtures at temperature of the process of 20-25°C.EFFECT: invention allows increase in activity of the catalysts for demercaptanisation of hydrocarbon mixtures without increase in temperature of demercaptanisation process.1 tbl, 12 ex
