<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a road sign pole which allows a display unit to be detachably attached to the road sign pole such that the display unit is held in any direction around the axis. <P>SOLUTION: A road sign pole includes a display unit having a display body, a cylindrical body, an upper protrusion, and a lower protrusion, which is detachable to the head 4 of a sign pole body 2 to be screwed with an embedding leg part for use. The head 4 is provided with a circular fitting hole 4d which allows the cylindrical body to pass through and the upper protrusion and the lower protrusion not to pass through, and a kew groove 4e which is provided at a part of the circumference of the fitting hole 4d so that the lower protrusion of the cylindrical body passes through and rotates around the axis for retention. The upper surface at the circumference of the fitting hole 4d is provided with a circular standing wall part 4c coaxial with the fitting hole 4d, which has a diameter larger than the inner diameter of the fitting hole 4d and allows the upper protrusion and the lower protrusion to pass through. The inner peripheral surface of the standing wall part 4c is provided with many convex parts 4f projecting spaced apart at an interval to allow the upper protrusion to be engaged between neighboring convex parts 4f, which the upper protrusion can elastically climb over when the cylindrical body is rotated around the axis. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
