<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat insulating mat capable of relaxing in various ways by improving versatility and convenience of usage forms. <P>SOLUTION: The heat insulating mat 1 includes: a first face part 1f having a first long side 11, a second long side 12 opposing to the first long side 11, a first short side 13 composed between the first long side 11 and the second long side 12, and a second short side 14 composed between the first long side 11 and the second long side 12, and opposing to the first short side 13; and a second face part 1s having a third long side 16 opposing to the first long side 11, a fourth long side 17 opposing to the second long side 12, a third short side 18 opposing to the first short side 13, and a fourth short side 19 opposing to the second short side 14, and opposing to the first face part 1f.
