PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strand folding jig that is capable of folding an end part of a strand with a minimum intervention of a man power, has a reduced number of parts, is compact and has a reduced weight, and to provide a strand folding method.SOLUTION: The strand folding jig used for folding respective end parts of a plurality of strands that form a wire rope to fix them to a socket has: a cylindrical member 10; a rod-like member 11 that is inserted in the cylindrical member 10, has a notch part 11a capable of engaging the strands to one end part capable of protruding from the cylindrical member 10, and is provided with a thread part 11b formed on the outer periphery; and a nut 12 that is positioned on the opposite side of the notch part 11a and is threadably engaged with the thread part 11b formed on the rod-like member 11. |
