<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent fraudulence (illegally and fully increasing coin credit) in a slot machine. <P>SOLUTION: When a result of the token count based on the token sensor output of a token selector of a slot machine exceeds a pre-determined upper limit, a blocker is operated and at the same time a timer is made to start. After the blocker is operated, the output of the token sensor is monitored and, when an output is produced in the token sensor, an output of the timer is obtained. When the obtained timer output exceeds a predetermined threshold value, it is determined as fraudulence.
