[Also in Division G1] In a milk yield sampling device a mixture of milk and air flows upwards through a tube 1 connected to a milking machine teat cup, and through a narrow opening 7 into a housing 4 to be discharged through a pipe 2. A fraction of the flow through the pipe 1 is branched through a passage 13 and tube 15 into a sampling tube 17. The sampling tube 17 may be calibrated, and the area of the opening 7 may be varied by a tapered screw 9.</p> |
