<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pure water producing apparatus which produces pure water by RO treatment and then by ion exchange treatment and in which ion exchange treatment water of high quality can be obtained from an ion exchanger. <P>SOLUTION: The pure water producing apparatus comprises a RO device and the ion exchanger through which treated water by the RO device is made to pass.
