The present invention relates to a method for provisioning an embedded SIM (eSIM) and a server device supporting the same. According to various embodiments, the server device may comprise: a first interface for transmitting a request message for requesting a profile to a profile generation server, and receiving a plurality of packets related to the installation of the profile in response to the request message; a processor for generating one image file from the packets; an authentication module for performing authentication with the profile generation server, and authenticating an electronic device having an embedded eSIM, connected through a second interface; and the second interface for delivering the image file to the electronic device when the electronic device is authenticated.
