ROLLER SEPARATION DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS USING THE SAME

A roller separation device separating a driven roller from a driving roller is disclosed. The roller separation device comprises: a holder where the driven roller is supported; an elastic member pressing the driven roller in a direction of contacting the driving roller; a handle member supported to be slid to a first position and a second position by the holder; and a separation member connected with the handle member to supported by the holder to be rotated to a normal position spaced from the driven roller and to a separation position where the driven roller is pulled to be separated from the driving roller in accordance with movements of the handle member toward the first position and the second position.
