In the present invention, provided is a polymer compound for a conductive polymer, which is soluble in an organic solvent, and has a specific superacidic sulfone group suitably used for a fuel cell or a dopant for a conductive material. In addition, the present invention relates to the polymer compound for a conductive polymer comprising at least one repeating unit a represented by chemical formula (1), wherein the polymer compound for a conductive polymer is synthesized by ion-exchange of a lithium salt, a sodium salt, a potassium salt, or a nitrogen compound salt of a sulfonic acid residue, and has a weight average molecular weight of 1,000 to 500,000. |
