According to an embodiment of the present invention, provided is a method for testing a light source including the steps of: operating a light source to be tested; receiving light emitted from the light source and performing a first measurement process of optical characteristics of the received light; receiving the light emitted from the light source after predetermined time elapses from a first measurement time point and perform second measurement process of optical characteristics of the received light; and determining whether the light source is defective or not, by comparing optical characteristics obtained by the first measurement process and the second measurement process.
