The present invention relates to a spindle motor. A spindle motor according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a stator which is formed in a base and has a core, and a rotor which includes a hub which has a magnet facing the core and is axis-rotated, a sealing part containing oil formed between the stator and a sleeve, and a labyrinth seal connected to the sealing part. A groove-shaped curved part is formed in the interface of the labyrinth seal. Therefore, the leakage of the oil can be prevented by blocking the movement of the oil in the curved part which is a cross-section change region. |
