An inclined exercise apparatus for undertaking exercises for hamstring eccentric and concentric loading and in particular, but not limited to, exercises such as the Nordic Hamstring Exercise, the Russian Hamstring Exercise and Russian Curls. The apparatus comprises a collapsible frame comprising a main support spar 1a running centrally the length of the apparatus, an extended horizontal bar 14 substantially perpendicular to the main spar and attached at its centre to a lower end of the main spar, an extended vertical bar 5 substantially perpendicular both to the main spar and to the horizontal bar and attached somewhere along its length to an upper end of the main spar fixing the main spar in an inclined position, a horizontal bar 13 perpendicularly attached to the lower end of the vertical bar, a kneeling pad 2 fixed to the main spar and a foot anchor 3 attached to the upper end of the vertical bar and linked to be height adjustable with respect to the kneeling pad. |
