FIELD: medicine, pharmaceutics.SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to dentistry and concerns a dental composition, and a method for using it. The dental composition contains an addition-fragmentation agent of formula (I):wherein each R, Rand Rindependently means Z-Q-, (hetero)alkyl group or (hetero)aryl group provided at least two of R, Rand Rrepresent Z-Q-; Q represents a binding group having a valence number m+1; Z represents ethylene-unsaturated polimerised group; m means 1-6; each Xindependently represents -O- or -NR-, wherein Rrepresents H or C-Calkyl; and n means 0 or 1; at least one monomer containing at least two ethylene-unsaturated groups; and an inorganic oxide excipient.
