The present invention discloses a mobile terminal capable of outputting a read record of e-book content using a progress bar and a control method thereof. To this end, the mobile terminal includes: a display unit displaying e-book content; and a control unit, if a preset user input is received while a certain page of the e-book content is being outputted, controlling a progress bar indicating a location of the certain page among the whole pages of the e-book content to be outputted and a reading record of the e-book content of a user to be outputted through the progress bar. |
