FIELD: information technology.SUBSTANCE: system for modifying an application functionality comprises functional modules of an antivirus application: a file antivirus, a web antivirus, an antivirus database updating module, installation means for installing updates and sending a list of functional modules for which the update was installed for monitoring means and functionality modification means; monitoring means for detecting events occurring from the moment of installation of an update, and determining when the detected events exceed a threshold; functionality modification means for determining functional modules influencing threshold exceeding by events detected by the monitoring means, changing settings of the installation means such that only antivirus database updates and updates preventing the events determined by the monitoring means are loaded thereafter, and other updates are not loaded, and changing one or more functional modules depending on the determined events and the determined functional modules.EFFECT: more stable computer operation due to the modification of an application functionality according to defined events and functional modules.16 cl, 4 dwg |
