A monitoring system (10) equipped with a facility management device (200), a relay server (400), and multiple monitoring terminals (300). The facility management device (200) establishes a first communication between the facility management device and a relay server (400), for the purpose of reporting the status of facility equipment (110) to the multiple monitoring terminals (300). Furthermore, the facility management device (200) establishes a second communication between the facility management device and the relay server, which is different from the first communication and is communication for the purpose of monitoring equipment information pertaining to the facility equipment (110) from each of the monitoring terminals (300). The monitoring terminals (300) establish the first communication and the second communication between the monitoring terminals and the relay server (400). The relay server (400) relays the first communication and the second communication. |
