FIELD: physics.SUBSTANCE: device comprises a working chamber in the form of a cylindrical tube with inlets and outlets. The chamber is placed in a cooling tank. Two identical rod-shaped ultrasonic transducers are mounted at opposite ends of the chamber. The transducers are connected by a pin with acoustic waveguides. Reflecting grooves are made on lateral surfaces of the waveguides. The ultrasonic transducers are connected to the pipe of the working chamber by flanges through shims. Elastic sealing rings are attached to the waveguides, the said rings sealing the working space of the chamber when moving the waveguide.EFFECT: reduced loss of the acoustic wave energy which causes cavitation, uniformity of the treatment of the entire volume of liquid, reduced probability of the cavitation erosion of the waveguide radiating end surface.1 dwg |
