<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve adhesive strength between two silicone rubber layers in an electrophotographic member having a fluororesin surface layer and an elastic layer with the two silicone rubber layers laminated. <P>SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing an electrophotographic member having a base material, an elastic layer and a fluororesin surface layer includes: curing a first addition curable silicone rubber mixture having an unsaturated aliphatic group-containing dimethylpolysiloxane-containing siloxane polymer and a hydrogen atom-containing siloxane oligomer directly coupling to a silicon atom and having a lower concentration of an unsaturated aliphatic group than a concentration of the hydrogen atom, to form a first silicone rubber layer; forming and curing, on a surface of the layer, a layer of a second addition curable silicone rubber mixture including the siloxane oligomer and the siloxane polymer and having the concentration of the unsaturated aliphatic group higher than the concentration of the hydrogen atom, to form a second silicone rubber layer; and adhering the two silicone rubber layers through forming a Si-C-C-Si bond between the two silicone rubber layers to obtain an elastic layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
