A detachable hula hoop that comprises waterproof reservoirs 100 formed from hollow arc sections 10, each including a neck 13; a first connection end 11 at a first end and including an opening 111, a channel 113, and a first recess 114 on a surface 112; a plug 14 including a cylindrical member 141 and a head 142; a second connection end 12 at a second end which includes a closed member 121 and a second recess 123 on a surface 122; and a reservoir 15. The first recess 114 is complimentarily disposed in the second recess 123 to fasten the first and second connection ends 11, 12 together. The plug 14 blocks the neck 13 to contain a liquid within the reservoirs. The exercise hula-hoop can be filled with water to give a desired weight. The hoop can be taken apart for transport and storage. |
