The present invention relates to a floating offshore structure and a management method for the same. The floating offshore structure of the present invention sets a first specification for operation as an LNG carrier and sets a second specification for operation as an LNG FSRU, comprises an internal combustion engine which includes the first specification and a second specification different from the first specification, and sets an LNG carrier mode for the internal combustion engine to be controlled by the first specification and an LNG FSRU mode for the internal combustion engine to be controlled by the second specification. And control of the internal combustion engine is changed between the first specification and the second specification according to mode selection. The floating offshore structure and the management method for the same according to the present invention can reduce manufacturing costs significantly and can improve management stability and efficiency, by being able to realize the LNG carrier and the LNG FSRU with one structure, by being manufactured in the structure including all of the specification of the LNG carrier and the specification of the LNG FSRU, and thus being to be fitted to the specification for driving the LNG carrier or being to be fitted to the specification for driving the LNG FSRU according to mode change by a user. |
