According to an embodiment of the present invention, a system for detecting circulating tumor cells by using gene expression characteristics includes: a circulating tumor cell-related gene selection unit for selecting circulating tumor cell-related genes from circulating tumor cell gene expression data having a circulating tumor cell condition and a normal blood cell condition; a viability ensuring function selection unit for selecting viability ensuring circulating tumor cell-related genes, except apoptosis-related genes, from the circulating tumor cell-related genes; a cell detection capability gene selection unit for selecting cell detection capability genes from the viability ensuring circulating tumor cell-related genes; a cancer identifying gene selection unit for selecting cancer-related genes which are related to each kind of cancer; and a circulating tumor cell detection gene selection unit for selecting circulating tumor cell detection genes, capable of identifying causes for each kind of cancer, from genes common in the cell detection capability genes and the cancer-related genes. |
