The present invention relates to an air cleaner for a vehicle. The air cleaner for the vehicle of the present invention includes: a case where an air inlet is formed on an upper plane or a lower plane, and at least one air outlet is formed on a circumference; a centrifugal fan which has a blower which is arranged in the case and is rotated around a vertical central axis, and absorbs air through the air inlet and then discharges the air through the air outlet; a charging electrode which charges dust particles by being located before or after the air inlet in an air intake direction; an electrostatic filter which collects the charged dust particles by being located between the air inlet and the centrifugal fan; an ion generator which generates ion by being arranged between the blower and the air outlet; and a discharge filter which is arranged between the blower and the ion generator in an air flow direction. The air cleaner for the vehicle of the present invention can be compact, and has the advantage of uniformly spreading the cleaned air containing ions into a vehicle. |
