摘要 The present invention relates to a system for strengthening vehicle security and starting a vehicle using recognition of the driver′s fingerprint to conduct the driver authentication simultaneously when the start stop button of the vehicle is pressed and to provide a customized starting service for each driver or to limit a partial use. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method of the present invention is a method conducted on a vehicle starting system having a start stop button (SSB) of a push return type, which comprises the steps of: detecting the SSB which is pressed (the detected degree of being pressed comprises the step of detecting a first degree of the SSB and a second degree which is more deeply pressed than the first degree); recognizing the fingerprint of the driver; determining the type of the recognized fingerprint (the type of fingerprint includes a master fingerprint, a general fingerprint, a non-user fingerprint, and an unregistered fingerprint); and operating a function corresponding to the degree of being pressed which is detected and the identity of fingerprint determined.
