The present invention relates to a bulbous bow of a ship. In the bulbous bow comprised at a lower side in front of the ship, the bulbous bow of the ship according to the present invention includes: a main body part having a curved shape protruded forward; and a mat part forming an outer surface by being comprised at an outer side of the main body part. The mat part includes: a board part comprised to be able to be bent; and a pocket part which has one plane fixed to the board part, has volume changed by inflow and outflow of a fluid, forms the outer surface by being arranged adjacently to each other, and is combined to the main body part using the board part which is bent to correspond to the outer side of the main body part. The bulbous bow of the ship according to the present invention can optimize operation efficiency according to ship velocity of the ship, sea condition and freight loading state etc. by being able to change the shape or the size variously, without the need to enter the ship to a dock again. Also, the bulbous bow of the ship according to the present invention comprises the mat part having the board part able to be deformed to a curve and the pocket part having one plane attached to the board part, and can secure efficiency and convenience in manufacturing, by being able to maintain the state that the pocket part is attached to the board part, as another plane of the pocket part is spread out at a fixed gap, when the mat part is bent and attached to the main body part. |
