a plurality of imaging pixels disposed on an imaging surface for capturing a subject image from the second luminous fluxes to generate image signals, anda plurality of focus detecting pixels disposed on the imaging surface in a specific pattern, for generating focus information about a focus state of the optical system with respect to the subject, the plurality of imaging sensors have the same specific pattern, the plurality of imaging sensors include a first imaging sensor and a second imaging sensor that is rotated by a predetermined angle with respect to the first imaging sensor, wherein by rotating the second imaging sensor by the predetermined angle, an arrangement of the first imaging sensor with respect to the subject image is different from an arrangement of the second imaging sensor with respect to the subject image, such that the specific pattern of the focus detecting pixel of the first imaging sensor with respect to the subject image is positioned so as not to correspond with the specific pattern of the focus detecting pixel of the second imaging sensor with respect to the subject image.
