The present invention relates to a surface treatment method of an extrusion mold and an extrusion mold manufactured by the same. The present invention has excellent mechanical physical properties and removes a process of pre-heating the extrusion mold before an extrusion process. According to the present invention, a surface treatment method of an extrusion mold comprises: a first step of enabling an inner space of a chamber to be under the vacuum atmosphere; a second step of inputting a gas; a third step of manufacturing an extrusion mold; a fourth step of putting the extrusion mold into the chamber containing the gas; and a fifth step of forming a nitrocarburized layer on the surface of the extrusion mold.
