Disclosed are an image immersion inducing apparatus, which is applied to a user in an easy manner and can induce the user to be immersed in an image, and an image immersion inducing method using the same. The image immersion inducing apparatus includes: a measuring unit which comes in contact with a body of the user who watches the image and outputs measurement data of measuring skin conductivity; a photographing unit which photographs user′s eyes and outputs photographing data for measuring movement of the eyes; a data processing unit which extracts a skin conductivity measurement value from the measurement data, extracts an eye movement measurement value by analyzing the photographing data, and outputs an immersion inducement control signal if the skin conductivity measurement value is out of a reference range for skin conductivity and the eye movement measurement value is out of a reference range for eye movement at the same time; and an image immersion inducing unit which outputs an immersion inducement message according to the immersion inducement control signal. Therefore, the image immersion inducing apparatus can accurately determine an image immersion degree of the user and provide the immersion inducement message to the user, naturally. |
