The present invention relates to a shielding apparatus and a method to cool a board using the same. The shielding apparatus comprises: a transfer table which transfers a rolled board by being installed between a roller and a cooling device; and a shielding unit installed to surround at least a part of the board proceeding on the transfer table. The present invention minimizes a difference of a cooling start temperature along a longitudinal direction of the board; thereby minimizing a quality of the material in the board by blocking heat energy moving out by being radiated from the board under transfer before cooling after rolling using the shielding apparatus. |
