A fuel supply system and method for a ship engine is disclosed. According to the present invention, the fuel supply system for a ship engine comprises: an LNG storage tank provided on a ship; a boil-off gas supply line compressing boil-off gas (BOG) generated in the LNG storage tank to be supplied to a ship engine; a forcibly vaporizing gas supply line forcibly vaporizing LNG stored in the LNG storage tank to be supplied to the ship engine; and a gas liquefaction line branched from the downstream of the boil-off gas supply line, and additionally compressing and cooling the compressed BOG to be liquefied. The ship engine can be supplied with compressed natural gas as a fuel.
