<p>A method for controlling a pitch angle of a rotor blade of a wind energy plant comprising a rotor having a rotor hub, wherein at least one rotor blade is mounted to the rotor hub and is further rotatable around a pitch axis by a pitch drive system having a first and a second antagonistic pitch drive, the method comprising the step of controlling the first and second pitch drive so as to apply a first and a second counteractive torque to the rotor blade.</p>
