Disclosed are a foreign language learning method based on spoken dialogue and a device thereof. A foreign language learning device based on the spoken dialogue according to the present invention comprises: a voice recognition unit to recognize a sentence spoken by a learner and to convert the sentence into a text; a language analyzing and understanding unit to estimate speech intention regarding the spoken sentence which is converted into the text and to perform a linguistic structure analysis regarding each word for forming the spoken sentence; and a dialogue processing unit to produce an answer for the spoken sentence based on the estimated speech intention, recognize an error included in the spoken sentence based on a linguistic structure analysis result, and provide a corrective feedback for the error.
