The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for testing directional properties of wireless local area network (LAN) based on a pair-wise method. The method for testing directional properties of wireless LAN based on a pair-wise method may comprise the following steps of: allowing a wireless LAN directivity measuring device to select a plurality of test cases; allowing the wireless LAN directivity measuring device to perform a test on uplink traffic and downlink traffic between a wireless LAN router and a set-top box for each of the test cases; and allowing the wireless LAN directivity measuring device to create a graph of the test results. The test cases include only one test case of two test cases in a pair in the entire test cases, and additionally include an initial-value setting test case for determining an initial value to create a graph. The entire test cases may include individual test cases set to different directivities between the wireless LAN router and the set-top box.
