The present invention relates to an on-the-fly-type data transmission system for optimizing a data transmission rate, a method for optimizing a data transmission rate thereof and a slave device thereof which are used when data are transmitted by using an on-the-fly method. The slave device extracts a datagram located in an upper end portion of a received data frame and performs a reading operation and performs a writing operation by inserting a datagram to be transmitted to a master device in a terminal of the received data frame. Therefore, a process in the slave device is simplified and processing delay can be reduced.
