Disclosed are a system for generating a gemstone electronic document and a system for providing a gemstone electronic document. The system for generating a gemstone electronic document according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises: an image acquisition unit for acquiring an X-ray image of gemstone positioned in a gemstone holder; an image processing unit for processing the image acquired by the image acquisition unit; and an electronic document generation unit for generating a gemstone electronic document from the image processed by the image processing unit. Also, the system for providing a gemstone electronic document according to another preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises, as a system for generating a gemstone electronic document, an image acquisition unit for acquiring an X-ray image of gemstone positioned in a gemstone holder; an image processing unit for processing the image acquired by the image acquisition unit; an electronic document generation unit for generating a gemstone electronic document from the image processed by the image processing unit; and a physical data acquisition/generation unit for acquiring or generating physical data of the gemstone. Also, the system for providing a gemstone electronic document comprises: an electronic document/image request unit for requesting the gemstone electronic document of the gemstone; an electronic document providing unit for servicing the gemstone electronic document of the gemstone; and an electronic document/image display unit for displaying the gemstone electronic document of the gemstone.
