The present invention relates to an automated system for diagnosing responsiveness of treatment for a lung cancer drug and, more specifically, to a method proper to automation by a method of calculating a predicted value of responsiveness of treatment from a sample of a patient for providing information needed to diagnose responsiveness of treatment of the lung cancer patient; and to an apparatus proper to the method. The system in the present invention is capable of prediction and diagnosis of prognostic responsiveness to a drug of a lung cancer patient by an automated process, thereby being useful in providing clues to the direction of next treatment including determination of necessity of administration of an anti-cancer drug.
